Team Belkin

I have now started to build up my Collection of items from Team Belkin, I willn´t make the same misstake as I did with Team Colombia Coldeportes and Think that the Items will be there forever and I also thought that the items of Colombia would be cheaper.
So in the last week I have recieved a couple of Items that I´m happy to ad too my Collection.

Team Coast

In 2003 a clothes manufacture in Germany wanted to be part of cycling, Coast, Unfortunately did the company got some financial problems and had to terminate the sponsorship early in 2003, that made the riders and the Team without any economical support and at first the Team seemed to be dissolved, but shortly after that the Bianchi company stepped in and took over the sponsorship, and to most of our happiness under the name Team Bianchi, the biggest star of the Team was of course Jan Ullrich, and the rest is history =) Of course not Ullrich won one stage in that years edition of Tour de France and ended on a very nice 2 spot (behind Lance Armstrong) in the General Classification. His bike from this year was previously on display at Bianchi Café & Cycles in Stockholm but is now removed.

Because of the short existence of the Team it´s very difficult to find stuff from the Team Coast (was ended on may 9th 2003) but below you will see what I have gathered through the years. The Cap did I get from one of the former team members (M. Urban) and it´s signed by Jan Ullrich.

Team Bottles - Bianchi

Here are the bottles I have collected during the years. As you can see isn´t the bottles from Androni here, you have to look in another post to see them. As a collector I am always hunting for more bottles so if you have bottles that you don´t see here, send me an email.

Various things from Team Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela

 

Here is some more things connected to the Team.

Knee warmers, exact the same as the Team uses. Bought a SMS Santini shop in Bergamo

Socks for the Team, used by members who doesn´t have specific shoe sponsors. Bought at SMS Santini / Bergamo

Team Bottles Androni Giocattoli from year 2011.

The bottle with an "S" on top was given to me by the rider Alessandro de Marchi he was then part of the Team. Since 2013 is Alessandro by Team Cannondale. A great guy and I think he will be something in the future.

The bottle laying (above) marked with an "x"was given to me by the rider Francesco Reda in Estonia May 2013. Francesco is also a great (as all riders of the Team are) guy. I really hope that everything settles for him soon. He become a Father just a few weeks ago. A baby boy!
