I have today recieved some nice items too my Collection. First it is summer gloves to Team Mercatone UNI - Bianchi anno 1999, and the National Jersey of Finnland, as was worn by Kjell Carlström when he was part of Team Liquigas Bianchi in 2005 and 2006.

Here are some nice item connected too a Team that only exsisted for a Year, but the results they made was impressive. Magnus Bäckstedt as an example won Paris Roubaix that year in this colours.
The most of the clothes and the helmet I got from an ex-pro in the Team and I am very thankful for be able to purchase this. The bibs and the signed Jersey is Team replica and bought by at my local bike store.

Team Vacansoleil 2012-2013

Here are my collection with Team Vacansoleil-DCM clothes, this is Team I have been neglecting a bit, I don´t know why, but maybe it´s because there is no problems to find stuff from this Team so far, the only thing I regret is that I didn´t bought the Jersey they used at Il Lombardia in 2012. Now is this Team dissolved and passed on to the History books. But they did some really nice results during it´s existence. 

 

Race Jersy with full zipp, this is an official race jersey which the riders used, this one belonged to Gustav Larsson, member of the Team in 2012.

I didn´t mean too!

Bianchi frame Infinito CV size 59

As a Bianchi addicted I stumbled over a frame just a couple of days ago on Ebay. And what happened? I bought it! Nr 14 in my collection... But hold on this is not a Teambike, so I will probably just build it and resell it when I am done. But it´s a beauty isn´t she?
The photo I show is how it looked assembled, but I have just bought a FSA K-Force Light Crankset, and I will also put on a stem, seatpost and probably a handlebar in the same brand and model, I have a soft spot for FSA K-Force light as well, which I find to be one of the best to put on a bike =)

Postcards - Team Gatorade

I continue with postcards for the next Days, here are some really nice photos of Team Gatorade in the early  90´s. I am very pleased of the photo with Laurent "Il Professore" Fignon, many Icons of cycling has sometimes during the career rode on a Bianchi.

Signed cards - Team Barloworld

Here are some nice photos I have gathered throught the years. Some I have gotten in person and some are ebay find. The ones I go in person is those signed by : Robert Hunter who was a great sprinter and one of those who managed Claudio Corti too sign up Chris Froome for Team Barloworld (the rest is history)

 

Nice guys

Daryl Impey was a very nice guy who I meet in Denmark 2012 during the first stages of Giro d´Italia. Daryl is the first South African who had worn the leader jersey of Tour de France. My biggest memory of Daryl is unfortunately when Theo Bos dragged him into the fence during the last stage of Tour of Turkey which he won, but the film showing Mauricio Soler and the other guys got Daryl up on the bike and pushed him over the finishline was much touching screens.

Encrico Gasparotto I also meet in Denmark, unfortunately I missed Geraint Thomas, but atleast he signed my Jersey, but he seemed to be in a rush so I didn´t dare to take the postcard from my pocket and ask for a Another signature. =)
